Nishit Sahay is the Affiliate faculty at the Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA USA. He has been associated with George Mason University since 2001 at various capacity. An accomplished technology savvy professional with a track record of over two and half decades of strategic and tactical leadership in Techno-policy, Higher Education, International Trade, Transportation operations & logistics and Public Policy. Expert in building institutions, bridge-building between government, corporate and non-corporate bodies. 

While the Greater Washington Area is an empirical laboratory for much of his work, he has extensive advisory and consulting experience in techno-policy, higher education and entrepreneurship. As Advisor of the Mason Enterprise Center of the School of Public Policy, George Mason University, Fairfax, USA, he took a lead role in setting up various research, training, faculty/student exchange programs and other consultancy assignments of SPP/MEC. In India he was instrumental in building relationship with the top Indian business schools, universities, public and private institutions and various ministries of Government of India. He is the founding member and Advisor of several centers in Public Policy and Entrepreneurship in India. He was also instrumental in setting up the Center for Science, Technology and Public Policy cSTPP at VTU, Belgaum. The cSTPP at VTU Belgaum was inaugurated by the former chairman Atomic Energy Commission Dr. M R Srinivasan in presence of H.E. Sri Bhardwaj the then Governor of Karnataka.
