His educational qualifications involve M.Sc, Plant Breeding & Genetics; Ph.D, Genetics; P.G. Diploma, Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law & Refugees Law. His expertise lies in security, law & order, scientific investigation, community policing, human rights enforcement, human resources development and capacity building. He has served as the Director of NationaI Crime Records Bureau Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi; Director, RBVRR Tetangana State Potice Academy Tetangana State Police, Hyderabad; Addt. Director General of Police,TechnicaI Services AP Police, Hyderabad; Inspector General of Police; Superintendent of Police, among many others. 

He has been the recipient of several awards such as President Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPM) -2011 (Covt. of India), Internal Security Service Medal (ISM) - 2004, and Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service (lPM) -2002
