MoU Signed Between IPF and Telangana Police under Internal Reforms Project
In Hyderabad on 15th September 2025, a meaningful step was taken towards strengthening citizen-centric policing.
Shri O.P. Singh, President & CEO of the Indian Police Foundation IPF, together with Dr. Ish Kumar, Vice President of the Centre for Internal Police Reforms, and Dr. Jitender, DGP & State Police Chief of Telangana, formally signed an MoU with the Telangana Police.
On this occasion, Ms. Abhilasha Bisht, DG and State Nodal Officer, along with many senior police officers of the Telangana Police, were also present.
This collaboration marked a key milestone in the Internal Police Reforms Project, supported by the Azim Premji Foundation, which was being implemented in Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Telangana. The project sought to reimagine the police-public interface and strengthen grievance redressal systems at the police station level—building trust, enhancing public satisfaction, and fostering more responsive policing in Telangana.
