IPF Signs MoU with Tamil Nadu Police under Internal Police Reforms Project

Shri O.P. Singh, President & CEO of the Indian Police Foundation IPF, together with Dr. Ish Kumar, Vice President of the Centre for Internal Police Reforms, and Shri K. Radhakrishnan, Former Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, and Director of the IPF Tamil Nadu Chapter, were in Chennai on 22nd August 2025, where they formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu Police.

This collaboration marked a significant milestone in the Internal Police Reforms Project, supported by the Azim Premji Foundation, which was being implemented in the three states of Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Telangana.

On this occasion, Shri Singh also presented two of his notable books, Crime, Grime and Gumption and Through My Eyes, to the DGP, Tamil Nadu. The Internal Police Reforms Project aimed to improve the police-public interface and the citizen grievance redressal system at the police station level, thereby enhancing public satisfaction and trust in policing in the state of Tamil Nadu.
