The Indian Police Foundation's annual day function was held in Mumbai on September 22, 2023. The Hon'ble Justice Gautam Shirish Patel was the chief guest of the event.

During this event, the IPF planned to honor the legendary Shri. Julio Ribeiro, recognizing his remarkable contributions to the country’s law enforcement and his unwavering dedication to policing without fear or favor. A citation was presented to Shri Ribeiro on behalf of the IPF and India’s police fraternity. Shri Deepak Parekh, Member of the IPF Executive Committee, presented the citation. Shri Vipul Mudgal, Shri Prakash Singh, and Shri Mihir Desai (Senior Advocate) were the other speakers.
