IPF Annual Day 2025: Reimagining the Police for India’s Economic Development
The Indian Police Foundation’s Annual Day 2025 was celebrated in Mumbai on 20th September 2025, marking a decade since the Foundation’s establishment. To commemorate this important milestone, the Foundation organized a landmark conference on the theme “Reimagining the Police for India’s Economic Development.”
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, lending immense significance to the celebrations. His presence, along with that of several other distinguished dignitaries, underscored the importance of collective dialogue on the future of policing in India.
The conference brought together a wide spectrum of participants—senior police leaders, civil servants, members of the judiciary, policymakers, industry captains, media professionals, academics, legal experts, and civil society representatives. Across the sessions, participants deliberated on the vital role of policing in creating an environment of safety, stability, and trust that can foster economic growth and attract investment.
This milestone event was made possible with the valuable support of our partners, Indian Masterminds and the HT Parekh Foundation, whose collaboration contributed greatly to the success of the 10th Anniversary Conference.
The 10th Anniversary Conference not only celebrated the Foundation’s journey of the past decade but also set the stage for reimagining a modern, citizen-centric, and development-oriented policing framework for the years ahead.
