OUTREACH PROGRAMME
Supporting the Backbone of the Economy
Indian Police Foundation • Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) • Training & Health Outreach
The Indian Police Foundation (IPF) implemented a two-day outreach and training programme for truck drivers, aimed at addressing issues that directly impact their lives and well-being. IPF expresses its sincere gratitude to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for graciously providing the platform that made this initiative possible. The programme offered a meaningful opportunity for interaction, awareness, and support for this vital workforce.
Over the course of the programme, participants were sensitised to various healthcare schemes available to them, enabling better understanding and access to entitled benefits. A dedicated health camp was also organised, offering essential medical check-ups and professional guidance.
Focus on Digital Safety
In addition, sessions on cybersecurity were conducted to raise awareness about emerging digital threats, common cyber frauds, and the precautions drivers can take to safeguard themselves in an increasingly connected world.
Empowering the Community
The enthusiasm and active participation of the drivers throughout the programme were highly encouraging, underscoring both the need and the impact of such initiatives. Truck drivers remain the backbone of the economy, and efforts like these are an important step towards strengthening and supporting this critical community.
