The Indian Police Foundation is pleased to share an online address delivered by O.P. Singh, IPS (Retd.), Former Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, and President & CEO, Indian Police Foundation, to students as part of “Ek Bharat, Surakshit Digital Bharat,” a three-day national collaborative cyber initiative organised by CyberX, DPS R.K. Puram.

In his address, Shri O.P. Singh emphasised the growing importance of cyber awareness in today’s digitally connected world. He highlighted the need for responsible digital behaviour, vigilance against emerging cyber threats, and the role of informed decision-making while using online platforms. Drawing from his vast experience in policing and public service, he also underscored the critical role that young citizens play in fostering a culture of digital responsibility.

The session aimed to sensitise students to the risks associated with cyberspace while empowering them with knowledge to navigate the digital environment safely. It reinforced the idea that building a secure digital India requires collective responsibility, with youth serving as key stakeholders in promoting cyber safety and resilience.
