Sudhir Kumar Former Secretary (S) Former Vigilance Commissioner, CVC

Sudhir  Kumar,  a 1968 batch IPS officer, retired as Secretary (Security) Cabinet Secretariat  had served in different capacities in his parent cadre of Maharashtra till 1980 before joining the Intelligence Bureau on deputation. He  is a graduate in science with Masters in Modern History. He has the distinction of attending prestigious National Defence College Course. He started his career in IPS Cadre and was superannuated in 2005 – as Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India. Thereafter he held the enviable post of Vigilance Commissioner, Central Vigilance Commission, Government of India till 2009.
